Microsoft word 2007 and printing?

Im using microsoft word 2007 and lexmark printer.

The printer is working ok but when i print from ''Word'' nothing prints !

It sounds as though it is but the pages are blank !

Is it only for Word that it won't print or will it not print in other applications?

Try deleting printers - First unplug your printer USB, then Start, Printers and Faxes, right click on printer and delete. Then plug the printer USB in again.

If that still does not work, try deleting the printer driver too. ie unplug printer usb then delete printer as above then in the printer window click File, Server properties, drivers tab and then delete the printer driver associated with your printer. Then replug in your printer USB and it should reinstall the driver. If the printer is a fairly recent one it should happen automatically but if it is not you may be asked for printer disk or you will have to download the printer driver from the manufacturer's website.

I had a very similar problem recently and this worked for me?

Reinstall the printer. Then when you print check that it is default printer and also that it is clicked in the print dialog box before you print your docs.

I have had the same kind of trouble with Lexmark. After I did this it was fine. It is a little temperamental!!
Have you set the printer as the default? If not it will automatically go to xps writer, document image writer or onenote. I bet if you go into Printers you will see that you have a queue in one or other of these. Right click on the Lexmark and down to set as default and you should have no problems in future.
Check if your ink is running low, it could be that.
