okay so it seems that the problem is that u cannot download a free powerpoint anywhere. there are always alternatives, like staroffice, openoffice, and oxygenoffice (all the same free openoffice). there is also powerpoint viewer, with which u can view ppt files but cannot create or edit them(this is free too). all the openoffices are free, but i dont think u can download only the powerpoint (known as impress in OpenOffice terms). ul have to download the whole thing. if u have a fast internet connection this wont be a prob. but keep in mind it is almost 300 MB and will take a good chunk of hard drive. if u have like 80+ GB on your hard drive, this wont be that bad. i have it and it works as good as powerpoint from MS. the only tgings are that it doesn't have that many backgrounds. but it reads the ppts fine.

for staroffice, get google pack.

for openoffice, go to www.openoffice.org

oxygenoffice is available on www.download.com (just search for oxygenoffice at download.com)

Powerpoint viewer should be on the MS website (im 90% sure).

remember, u can always get these things by searching on google if the websites i gave dont work.

You could get one at officemax for $149.99 I got it it was worth the money
Use docs.google.com and create or upload a presentation or .ppt file. No download required.
OpenOffice.org

they have a free Office Suite just like Microsoft Office.
Use a free alternative: OpenOffice.
